He Sits For Hours/
Calmly Waiting/
For Any Job/
But Nothing Happens/

The Piercing Sound/
Of An Alaskan Malamutes Plaintiff Wail/
Fills The Calm Morning Air/
Perhaps He's sad/
Because He Dosn't Have A Job/
He,s Been Looking For Awhile/
But Nothing Yet/
The Wails Continue/I Go Over To See/
Right On/
He's Got A brand new/
Plastic Igloo Doghouse/
That He's Lying Beside/
I Look Closer/
And Understand/
Why He's Wailing/

Is To Small/
For An Unemployed Alaskan Malamute
The Mop

Lays Discarded By The Roadside/
Remembering It's Youth/
How Dirty Floors Were Cleaned/
And Faces Gleamed/
From The Reflections/Off The Shiny Floor/

Just Memories

Every Year/
About This Time/
They Begin To Appear/
Brightly Colored/
